Pabari opticians in Moseley village are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and are following Governmental directions at this time.”
However they will remain “virtually” open, so if you want to contact them, you can call them on Tel: 0121 449 0845 and/or by email on moseley@pabari.co.uk
They will be able to take your calls and enquires and be able to offer advice if you’re experiencing any eye-related problems.
They will also be able to order contact lenses for patients and replace or repair broken spectacles for key workers and patients alike.
However, they suggest that if you are experiencing a serious visual/eye condition and seek emergency attention, please contact NHS on 111.
“Pabari opticians wishes that all their patients and all those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic remain safe and well, and they’ll see you all again soon.”

Bikes

At present we are allowed out on our bikes and a couple of the local bike shops have reported an increase in requests for bike repairs and even the loan of bicycle pumps.

Bike Pro in Kings Heath are open for business, but their opening hours may be shortened, so give them a ring (0121 608 8899).

Ladypool Cycles are open on the following days: Monday-Thursday: 11 am to 6 pm, Friday: 2pm to 6pm (closed 27 March), Saturday: 10am to 6pm and Sunday: 11.30am to 4pm.
They are following guidelines and asking people to wait outside if there is someone else in the shop. It would be helpful if you contacted the shop before going there.
They would like to offer front line NHS staff a free pick up & drop off service for their bikes. If you do fit into that category and require bike repairs or servicing please text them on 07958121055 or email ladypoolcycles@gmail.com to arrange a booking, 11am – 6pm.

Message from James Connolly the owner of a cycle workshop/bike-shop/café in Kings Heath:
“We continue to be open and offer a pick-up and delivery service for local people who are choosing to self-isolate. If you or your network may require our services, we’d be happy to help.
Our bike shop is co-located with our café on Drayton Road in Kings Heath. The café is not trading currently but the workshop operates as normal.
