Shop Safely and Shop Local!

All retail is now allowed to open and we’re encouraged to remain local and limit our travel.

The Moseley Shop Local website was set up in response to the changing lockdown restrictions over the last year, in order to keep up to date with and support our local shops and makers. There are over 40 businesses currently listed and we hope to add more over the coming weeks.

It’s still important to shop safely by following all guidance:

  • Avoid crowds
  • Keep a physical distance from anyone not in our household or support bubbles
  • Maintain hand-hygiene practices
  • Wear a mask unless medically exempt
  • Keep close to sources of fresh air

Retail outlets are required to help us stick to these rules, and many have opened with extended hours in order to decrease crowding.

The Moseley Shop Local project is being led by Moseley Community Development Trust as part of work with Moseley Together, encouraging a connected community during these challenging times and beyond.

Moseley Ecycles

It’s a service for electrifying bikes at your home. Electrifying an existing bike is the most economical and greenest way to get a quality ebike, especially if you already own a bike. We are able to continue operating during lockdown and have a special offer running until 20th November.
More information is available at the website here.
