Peter the Bee & friends – wildflowers for sale

A recent addition to Moseley Farmers’ Market.  Find out more on Facebook here.

“We are pleased to say that we are offering free limited delivery of our wildflowers to surrounding areas in South West Birmingham. We have a beautiful range of native wildflowers ready for summer to attract more pollinators to your garden. Annuals/biennials £3.00 and perennials £4.50. All are pesticide and peat free, and some of our stock can be provided in newspaper pots if you want to reduce plastic in your garden. Some larger plants are in biodegradable coir pots. Please contact us via Facebook or email – peterthebeeandfriends@gmail.com. Minimum order of £15 for delivery. We also have our new Purple Payment Pot to assist with social distancing card payments!”

Electrical Items

Our local electrical supplier Domestica “continues to be ‘open behind closed doors’ on 0121 449 2400 or repairs@domestica.co.uk to provide whatever service we can. We are trying our best to help customers self-repair their products over the phone and using facetime.
We are offering a ‘non-contact’ delivery service where products are dropped off at the doorstep. Certain appliances can be installed under specified conditions.
We are obviously prioritising NHS staff and any vulnerable customers.”

However if you need something that Domestica does not stock, you can try Denmans. After closing the shop in Kings Heath, the business moved to the Kings Norton Business Park.   Click here for information.  Ring or email first to find out if the item you need is in stock, then drive up and ring them and pay by card and they will bring the item out to you (while you watch the green woodpecker on the grass alongside their unit.)

Moseley Travel

“Although our shop door is closed, Moseley Travel is very much still open. We are in the office most weekdays and are assisting with repatriation, re-arranging existing bookings and are also here for general travel advice and new bookings.
We’re operating on a closed door basis but calls to our number 0121 442 4499 & emails to enquiries@moseleytravel.com are still being answered.

Secondly, Moseley Travel is running a children’s drawing competition. We’re asking for as many children as possible to draw us a picture of their favourite holiday memory or of a place they would like to visit one day. The aim is to fill our window with lots of beautiful pictures to help cheer up passers-by.

  1. Ask your child to draw a picture (make is as colourful as they can)
  2. Take a photo of the drawing and email it to: enquiries@moseleytravel.com
  3. We will print the drawing out and display it in our shop window & Facebook page
  4. The competition closes on 14th April and the winner will be announced on 18th April ‘20
  5. The winner will receive a £20 Love2Shop voucher
  6. One entry per child. Maximum age 16 years

The full details to the competition can be found on our Facebook page: @MoseleyTravelOffers (Moseley Travel Special Offers)”
