Moseley is a vibrant, welcoming community that continues to thrive because local people give their time, skills and energy to make a difference.
At Moseley Community Trust, our work simply wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our amazing volunteers. Whether you can spare a few hours a month or want to get more involved, there’s a place for you here.
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, develop skills, build confidence and play an active role in shaping the future of our neighbourhood. Whatever your experience or background, we’d love to hear from you.
We support a wide range of volunteering opportunities that benefit all sections of the Moseley community. Opportunities may include:
Moseley Community Fridge
Join our weekly Community Fridge team and help reduce food waste while supporting local residents. Volunteers help collect food from partner organisations, sort and stock donations, and welcome visitors in a friendly and supportive environment.
Outreach Support
Work alongside our outreach worker each week to meet and greet community members, serve refreshments and food, and help build strong local connections and support networks.
Seasonal Events
Support special community events throughout the year, including initiatives such as our Community Iftar. Volunteers may help set up tables and furniture, greet guests, assist in the kitchen, and help keep the space welcoming and tidy.
Every volunteer makes a difference. By giving a little of your time, you can help strengthen our community, support local projects and make Moseley an even better place to live, work and connect.
Whether you’re looking for a regular volunteering role or would like to support occasional events, we’d be delighted to welcome you to our volunteer team.
Get involved today and be part of something positive.
