The government is seeking your views to help inform the development of the next Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy. They are particularly keen to hear from people who may feel underrepresented in previous strategies or who feel their circumstances were not supported by existing services.
This call for evidence has been reopened to reflect the recent public discussion about Violence Against Women and Girls, to provide an additional opportunity to feed into the consultation and seeks to collect views from those with lived experience of, or views on, crimes considered as violence against women and girls.
The consultation is open to all genders; everyone aged 16 or over is welcome to contribute to the call for evidence, you do not have to have experienced violence or abuse to take part.
Full information on the consultation and how to take part can be seen here, including information in British Sign Language, and ways to submit responses including by email, by post, or by responding online via a link.
The consultation closes at 11:45pm on 26 March 2021.
