Useful advice about mobile phone charges

One of our members has passed on this tip: “If you know anyone who is bereaved or who develops a critical illness, they are likely to increase their mobile phone use. Check their mobile phone company website for help. We have just had good service from Vodafone, which has a helpline for these problems. Yvonne answered the phone immediately and advised that my friend could ask to change her contract. Owen in Customer Care then checked what extra phone calls, data and international use were wanted and changed the contract. He also applied three discounts.”
