‘The world in one place: learning together in a multicultural city’ is a project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and delivered by Future Seed CIC. It explores the heritage and history of primary school life and education in Birmingham between the 1960s and the end of the 1980s. The project team has undertaken research, gathered stories, found old photographs and objects, enabling better understanding of what was happening in classrooms and schools, and the wider city, during those years.
Now, Future Seed is proud to announce its ‘The world in one place: learning together in a multicultural city’ exhibition, at the Library of Birmingham. This will open to the public from Friday 6th August and run until the end of October.
