MHRA Responds to Countries’ Suspension of AstraZeneca Vaccine

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has responded to the decision by Denmark, Norway and Iceland to suspend the Oxford Astra/Zeneca vaccine. It states: “This is a precautionary measure by the Danish, Norwegian and Icelandic authorities. It has not been confirmed that the report of a blood clot was caused by the AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine.
