Covid-19 Photography Project for 13-17 yrs

Do you like taking photos? Are you 13-17 years old (in Year 9-Year 12)? Would you like the chance to share your thoughts about Covid-19 and how it’s affecting you and your education?

If so, Julia Rosenbaum would love to hear from you for a project which will be part of her research for her master’s degree in Psychology at Coventry University.

Julia is interested in finding out about how the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the lives of young people and in hearing what they have to say.

The project will involve taking some photos and chatting to Julia over Zoom about experiences of the pandemic, especially around education and coping strategies.

If a young person between the ages of 13-17 years old might be interested in getting involved, their parent/carer is invited to email Julia: for more information.  The flyer for the project can be seen here.

Access to a smartphone or camera, and the internet, is required in order to be considered.

Julia is an experienced secondary school teacher with a current DBS, and this research will be undertaken under supervision from staff at Coventry University. Interviews will take place online with young people taking part from home.

Responses from interviews will use pseudonyms and will not identify individuals or organisations. The results will be reported in a research paper available to all participants on completion.
