Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery reopening 07.10.20

Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery is reopening on Wednesday 7 October.  You can find all the details here.

The new opening times are from Wednesday – Sunday, 10am to 5pm. Free timed tickets must be booked in advance here.

The Edwardian Tearooms will be open to eat in or takeaway. You can see Cold War Steve’s huge Birmingham collage – Benny’s Babbies – on display in the gallery for the first time since it launched online in lockdown.

Tickets will be free but, if possible, visitors will be asked to donate to help Birmingham Museums Trust secure its future during very difficult financial times.

There will be new safety measures in place, including limiting capacity through the new ticket system, one-way routes around the galleries with entry via the Gas Hall entrance on Edmund Street, masks to be worn throughout visits, hand-sanitising stations throughout the building, and enhanced cleaning regimes.
