Somatic Yoga and Art: Saturday 22nd June 10am – 1pm, £5
Sophie will guide you through a gentle Somatic Yoga practice, helping you connect to your body with compassion, and find joy in movement, followed by a short guided meditation to help create a calm and receptive state of being, encouraging more clarity and imagination; very much needed for making art. You can choose to lie down or sit up in a chair.

Finally, brighten up your soul & connect to your creative side with a colourful and expressive art session, which includes watercolour paints, oil pastels and collage. Sophie will guide you through some initial warm up practices, providing tips and techniques, and will encourage you to try out a few different materials. You will then have the opportunity to create your own Summer Solstice inspired affirmation card!

You are not expected to complete a ‘final painting’ or create a masterpiece, as this is an opportunity to play and create without expectation or judgement. All materials are included and you don’t need any experience. Beginners are very welcome. Book here.

Silver Jewellery Workshop with Chloe from Spear Works Jewellery: Sat 22nd June, 2 – 5pm
Cherish the moments in real time with your loved ones. Make each other’s finger prints into a beautiful keepsake you can wear. This workshop will give you the ability to be personal and make something completely unique to you in silver that you can wear for years to come. This is open to any ability, whether you see yourself as creative or not. This is a gender-neutral space and all are welcome! Through the workshop you will be shown step by step how to use your silver clay to take impressions using natural dried leaves and flowers, and methods of making shapes and using texture to personalise your jewellery making experience to your taste. You will then transform your pieces into your own pendant and earring set or if you wish, cufflinks and a keyring. Your teacher has over 7 years of teaching experience and has complete confidence in guiding you through this making journey so that you enjoy the process in a relaxed and safe environment. We also have tea & coffee and some delicious cakes to keep creativity flowing. Book here.
