Join Moseley Community Festival and Kinmos as they explore what festivals mean to Moseley and create some flower power artwork for the festival. This weekly program will include making parade items, decorations and even a Moseley Song. Bringing the festival to life, come share your ideas. Healthy teatime snacks included.

Ceremony of Self: Thurs 18th April, 6.30 – 8.30pm
Ceremony of Self is a project exploring what it means to be female in the face of change in today’s society. Through a series of drop-in sessions of creative play, dance, object-making and conversation, together we will create artistic rituals to support ourselves as we face personal and social periods of transition. We are inviting women of all ages, experiences and identities to join us in creative conversation to grow our communal resilience and explore the changes that are alive for each of us at this moment. Sustainability Saturday, Plant Swap Shop and Repair Cafe: Sat 20th April, 12 – 2pm
Welcome to the Community Plant Swap event! Join us for a fun day of exchanging plants with fellow plant-lovers in the community. Bring your extra plants, cuttings, or seeds to trade with others and expand your plant collection. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone looking to add new greenery to their home. Hooponauts Class: Tues 23rd April, 6.05 – 6.55pm – NEW WEEKLY CLASS
Discover the joy of hooping, a fun and dynamic way to stay fit! Join Sam Paj for a hooping class. Our classes dive into the exciting world of hula-hooping, teaching you to master movements on various parts of your body, from your waist and legs to your chest, hands, and even elbows. You’ll also learn eye-catching off-body tricks like isolations, weaves, and escalators. Think you’re not coordinated? Don’t worry! Learning to hoop is all about building muscle memory. As someone who was once an uncoordinated kid, I promise that if I can learn, you can too! For those with some prior experience, we offer exciting variations to keep your skills sharp. Hula-hooping is more than just a childhood game – it’s an energetic exercise that melds coordination and creativity. I am Yogi, pay as you feel yoga: Mondays 5.15 – 6.15pm
A weekly series of donation-based classes for members of the community including those who are not able to afford yoga. The class is suitable for all levels and everyone is welcome. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time and wear comfortable, loose clothing. Mats will be provided but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Book for upcoming weeks here.

The Moseley Parish Stay and Play: Thursdays 9.30 – 11am
Open to children (0-4) and their parents/carers every Thursday morning from 9:30 – 11am. This is a time for play, chat and the sharing of refreshments. With plenty of toys suitable for all ages, and hot drinks and healthy snacks for everyone. £1 per child to help cover the cost of snacks.

Community Fridge: Thursdays 11.30am – 1pm
Join us to save food from waste, learn more about our mission and how the community fridge concept works. Everyone is welcome to collect food donated by local growers with too much, and we get food from Marks and Spencers and Co-Op. We need your surplus donations: do you have an allotment, bountiful garden, apple trees, plums… you can drop items off at the fridge 6 – 8pm Wednesdays, and Thursdays 10am – 12pm.

Soup Club: Thursdays 1 – 2pm
After our community fridge we will be offering a lunchtime drop in of a warming, nutritious soup and bread to be enjoyed with conversation and connection. Pay what you can; donations are welcome.

Tea and Talk: Bi-weekly Thursdays, 5 – 6pm – next meeting April 18th
Meet and chat with Ukrainians to help practise English speaking skills and share cultural conversations.
