Katy Rose Bennett has been creating her earthy, intimate folk music for over 20 years, telling stories of love, despair, connection and community. She empowers audiences to be emotionally open by sharing the strength in vulnerability, through the vessel of song. She has released 7 albums to critical acclaim with plays on BBC Radio 2, 3 & 6 and RTE Radio 1. “Fascinating stuff… a sort of folk-meets-Laurie Anderson” Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 2. “Every time I see Katy play she knocks me over, makes me cry and lifts my soul” Tom Besford, English Folk Expo.  Vocal Spokes are an Oxford-based vocal group, performing contemporary acapella arrangements of songs by artists ranging from Billie Eilish to Sigrid, Rag’n’Bone Man to Kate Bush. Rising phoenix-like from the ashes of Oxford’s much-loved Rivers acapella, Vocal Spokes sing these genre-hopping pop tunes in their distinctive style, with blend and groove and delicious arrangements.  Tickets: £12/£6 Advance or £15 on the door (cash only).
